How to maintain CNC ROUTER in winter?

  • 29/10/2020

As the seasons change, engraving machines need specific maintenance just like people!
Everyone knows that the maintenance of engraving machinery is extremely important, and it directly affects the service life of this equipment. However, in addition to the maintenance of the engraving machine according to the use environment, consideration of the season of use is also very important.
Daymax cnc made the following recommendations based on winter maintenance:
1. The first is the temperature. Although the temperature does not have a great influence on the engraving machine, because many customers will add butter to the screw, they will definitely forget to clean it in winter, which will cause it to not move every time it is turned on. For example, the winter in the north is very cold, the temperature of the studio will be very low, although the machine still can’t move after oil is added. At this time, we must ensure that the temperature in the working room reaches the minimum temperature of the refueling standard.
2. The second is the cooling water. Since the cooling water needs to be replaced every day in the summer to avoid exceeding the specified temperature, many customers will ignore this in the cold winter and think that the water temperature will not increase much in cold weather. So many customers often forget to change the water, especially in winter, because the outside temperature is very low, it is difficult to feel the spindle motor heating. Therefore, we specially remind customers that cooling water is a necessary condition for the normal operation of the spindle motor. If the cooling water is too dirty, it will cause serious damage to the motor. Ensure that the cooling water is clean and the water pump works normally.
3. Finally, there is the cleaning problem of the engraving machine. Many users who have used the engraving machine think that the engraving machine does not need to be cleaned up. Sometimes it is enough to clean up properly. Because they believe that the engraving machine itself will generate a lot of dust during use, and it will be troublesome to clean it every day. This will easily damage the engraving machine and reduce its service life. The correct approach should be to clean the table in time after the work is finished. , Which provides convenience for the next work. Clean up the material scraps near the guide rail and the guide rail to prevent the machine from jamming due to the interference of the debris. Regularly clean the lead screw to prevent foreign matter from sticking to the lead screw. The lead screw is very important in the equipment, it determines the accuracy of the machine, and the lead screw also plays an important role in the transmission process.
